Once upon a winter evening, on December 7, 2025, Yarina and Eyan arrived separately at the same Winter Ball, each surrounded by their own group of friends and unaware that the night would become the beginning of their forever.When another guest began giving Yarina some unwanted attention, she searched the room for a familiar face who might come to her rescue. After trying to catch the attention of a few friends, she finally found Eyan and asked him for his help and protection.Eyan gladly stepped into the role—but rather than simply distracting the unwanted admirer, he began charming Yarina himself. Playfully offended that someone else had been flirting with her, he promised to make up for not giving her enough attention earlier that evening. He told her that when the next slow song played, the dance would be his.Then he waited.Nearly an hour later, the first notes of a slow song finally filled the ballroom. True to his word, Eyan crossed the entire room, walked straight to Yarina, and led her onto the dance floor.“I promised you a dance,” he reminded her.They danced through the entire song, talking, laughing, and discovering that the playful flirting between them was becoming something real. Although Yarina and Eyan had known each other for several years, neither of them had expected their friendship to change so suddenly—or so perfectly.Before the evening ended, Eyan asked if he could message Yarina so they could spend time together again and go on their first official date. A few days later, he admitted that he had eagerly waited the entire hour for a slow song to begin, determined to keep his promise and dance with her into their happily ever after.
